Following an in depth and extensive planning process, PWJ Architects were rewarded with the chance to design a contemporary replacement dwelling.

Strict planning guidelines dictated height and massing, however PWJ looked to overcome this with a modern split level building with contrasting vertical and horizontal timber cladding, large format ground floor glazing and clerestory windows at first floor.  A chance to challenge the preconceptions of what a house should look like, PWJ worked closely with the client to design a luxury contemporary dwelling that still sits harmoniously with the surroundings.  Open plan internal living within the ground floor and generous first floor bedrooms including a large master suite work together to create this striking modern family home.
