LINGFIELD LODGE

The dilapidated state of this Grade II Listed oast house and granary provided the exciting opportunity to design a new single dwelling. The two historic structures were retained and restored with a new oak and glass link bisecting these, providing the main entrance and vertical circulation to the split levels of the property.

Retention of all major historic fabric and exposed timbers combine with the contemporary detailing of new additions such as the curved feature staircase to create an interior full of character. A new barn style addition sits separated by a fully glazed link to the rear of the property and provides 2 additional bedrooms and family bathroom. The open plan granary provides the living room whilst the oast building houses the new ground floor kitchen and mezzanine master suite
