PLACE FARM BARNS

Conversion of these Grade II Listed Barns into 9 residential units carried the inherent challenge of designing modern dwellings within the parameters of historic building fabric.

Existing slot window openings were retained to carry through the character whilst larger openings were enclosed with glass to offer improved light levels and a nod to the contemporary conversion.

Internally existing beams were retained to sit in historic contrast to the modern interventions of internal walls, internal glazing and contemporary open plan layouts.
