PWJ were honoured to wok closely with the clients on this project to restore, extend and enhance a stunning Grade II Listed property which was formally the residence of Sir Alfred Hitchcock.

Sensitive internal replanning and careful restoration of existing features, combined with sympathetic extensions enhanced this beautiful period property into a modern family home.

Working with the original farm house and existing arts and crafts extension, PWJ used a modern glass link and arts and crafts style extension to provide the additional space required by the clients.  The result, further proof that contrasting historic fabric with carefully designed modern additions can have stunning results.
