With the help of an open minded client, a brief was developed to fully overhaul this dated 1950's detached property to provide the client with a contemporary family home both in terms of appearance and layout. Elevations were completely transformed with the introduction of white render, timber cladding panels, slate roof and contemporary aluminium windows.

​The project evolved into a replacement new build dwelling which ensured PWJ could provide a more flowing open plan layout with generous circulation spaces, double height entrance void along with 5 bedrooms. Combining large format glazing at ground and first floor, the interior is flooded with light whilst still maintaining a sense of privacy and a domestic scale within a contemporary shell.
